Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show

IWM's main event of the year. the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain will be the main feature of the show.

The Imperial War Museum Duxford is delighted to announce the flying line-up for its Battle of Britain Air Show.

The RAF’s Red Arrows will be showcasing both days accompanied by a gathering of nearly 20 Spitfires and Hurricanes. The airshow will remember the pilots and aircraft synonymous with this aerial conflict.

Some 60 aircraft will display over the weekend and IWM Duxford is pleased to welcome back to the museum the Patrouille de France, the French aerobatic display team, who will be flying on Saturday.

European air forces are also represented each day by the Belgian Air Component’s F-16 Fighting Falcon display.

On the ground, there will be activities for all ages, including funfair rides, bungee trampolines, tank rides and demonstrations, 1940-period re-enactors, a variety of trade stands and the Parachute Regiments’ exciting jump tower.

Buy tickets in advance and receive a 10% discount PLUS receive a FREE child ticket with every Adult or Senior ticket booked. Tickets are also available on the day.

Please note that the Red Arrows will display at 12.25pm on Saturday 4 September with the main air show display taking place between 2.00pm and 5.00pm. On Sunday 5 September the Red Arrows will open the main air show display at 2.00pm, with the show continuing until 5.30pm.
